Thanks to everyone at Entercom Radio (Z99.5, WXNT, and 107.9 the Track) for helping us raise over $21,000 today for Salvation Army Flood Relief. Staff from all three stations participated from 7am to 6pm on the air and at two Panera Bread locations in Indy.  Thanks also to Two Men and a Truck for helping us get water and Gatorade to where it needs to go.

After several long days, I was pretty tired when I got home. But, I was grateful to have a home to come to at the end of the day. Many Hoosiers don’t have that luxury tonight. Also, waiting for me at home was an envelope from FedEx.  College World Series tickets were inside. Life’s good.

It’s been a lousy day for IU fans. Our school has been disgraced (again) and a promising basketball season has been derailed by the resignation/termination of Coach Kelvin Sampson. It’s hard to find the silver lining. It’s hard to find anything to smile about. But, that’s my job. So, let me offer for you two comedic gems from today. (more…)
