As I type this, I’m listening to Pink Floyd’s Learning to Fly and contemplating an hour drive south to Bloomington. Buffalouie’s represents all that is good in this world. Darrin was so kind to post this photo for me and now I’m getting vaklempt. (Check out the comment thread in my last post.)
Darrin’s stint as a Buffalouie’s earns him a spot in the Citizen’s Hall of Fame and the undying affection of my cardiologist. When I die, I don’t want to be embalmed. Just shoot wing sauce in my veins and call it a day.

Ya know … musician, podcaster, blogger, technical wizard, former entrepreneur … I really would not have pegged “chicken wing driver and pack rat” as the ones that canonized me.
