The Silent Week

20 November 2008 One Comment

Sorry I’ve been silent for the last week. I’ve been busy with the Tree of Lights Campaign for the Salvation Army.  It’s been a tough year for most of America’s charities. Most people don’t realize that during presidential election years, charitable giving goes down. This year, it was even worse due to the record setting fundraising by the Obama and McCain campaigns. Toss in the economic crisis and most of America’s charities are struggling. So, remember them this Christmas season!  Click here to learn how you can help the Salvation Army. Or, click on the red kettle in the right column of this page to donate today.

Also, if you’re in the Indy area tomorrow, check out Celebrity Bell Ringing on Monument Circle. WISH-TV on air staff will be there along with Quinn Buckner, the Pacemates, Colts Cheerleaders, Blue, Boomer, Bowzer, Terri Stacy, Big Joe and all the WIBC folks as well. I’ll see you there!

Carry on, Citizens!
