Alicia Keys for VP

15 April 2008 3 Comments

Hey, why not?  She’s got her  BS down pat.  Her recent denial of her Gangsta Rap comments make her the perfect running mate to any of the front runners. If you haven’t been following this, she told Blender magazine that “`Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. `Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.”

She went on to say that she wears a gold AK-47 around her neck to, “to symbolize strength, power and killing ‘em dead.”

And just like her political counterparts, she spun her way out of it a few days later. “My comments about `gangsta rap’ were in no way trying to suggest that the government is responsible for creating this genre of rap music,” she now claims.  Keys did not respond to our request to answer, who she now believes is responsible for “the ploy to convince black people to kill each other.” However, our sources indicate she has been in touch with O.J. Simpson and may soon implicate the real killer of Nicole Brown Simpson or Pee Wee Herman. It could go either way.

As for the gold AK-47, she retreated as well, claiming her friends gave her the nickname, “as an acronym for Alicia Keys and a metaphor for wowing people with my music and performances, `killing ‘em dead’ on stage. The reference was in no way meant to have a literal, political or negative connotation.”

She went on to say that, “I think all of us, including our leaders, could be doing more to address these problems including drugs, gang violence, crime, and other related social issues.”  Really? All of us?  Doing More? You mean like not wearing solid gold guns around our necks?

Carry on, Citizens!

When it comes to weaseling out of stupic remarks, public figures will *NEVER* TOP:

“You Misunderstood Me When I Misquoted Myself”.

This only shows how powerful the mob to break up black families and keep black men in prison or prepared our youth for it. She was absolutely correct in the government conspiracy and they made her punk out of the truth. She is now a weakling as we have nothing but black people in prisons and I wonder if she they would tell Alicia to deny that as well. Sick sick sick.

John: Uh… okay. Start breaking the pills in half. As for “they” making her “punk out the truth,” I would wager it was her manager who told her to tone it down since the conspiracy theory shtick doesn’t play well with the suburban whites that surprisingly buy the lion’s share of her cd’s.
