Elle Woods goes to Harvard in the movie Legally Blond. Tommy Amaker goes to Harvard in Legally Bland (Turtlenecks and a carer record of 184-157). Oh yes, that movie is coming soon.  It has to be made. Just as Elle blazed the trail for Lawyer Barbie’s everywhere, Tommy has accomplished something never before seen on the prestigous campus: NCAA recruiting violations.

Recruiting violations? Are you kidding me? Harvard hasn’t been to the NCAA tournament in 60+ years and their last coach only had 4 winning seasons in 16 years. It’s not like the bar was all that high in Cambridge. In fact, Harvard Basketball’s bar is so low, you could trip on it trying to run on to their court. How do you cheat at Harvard?

This has been a crazy basketball season.  The Sampson scandal broke my heart. The Amaker scandal blows my mind.  Finally, let me add that Michael Beasley will probably win Player of the Year. But, nobody has deserved it more than DJ White.  He’s been through 3 coaches and multiple injuries during his time in Bloomington. Yet, he continues to battle every night and is having a monster season.
