Bob Knight, ESPN, and Prostitution

Bob Knight is coming to ESPN on March 12! They’re already testing the 5 second delay, the 10 second delay, and the rarely used 10 minute expletive laced tirade delay. Knight will bring his unmatched knowledge of the game to what is now truly March Madness. However, it’s hard to imagine Knight joining the ranks of the sports media. Didn’t he once say the sports journalism was only one step above prostitution? Guess he’s Digger’s you-know-what now!

I was a little disappointed by this news…I thought for sure Bob would be in line for the Manatees tryouts. Maybe next year or as a mid-season replacement.
The day this was announced on the news (Sorry I can’t remember what station I was watching) the news caster appeared to be taken off guard.
She said, after the other guy read the story – something along the lines of – “Oh my, get your bleepers ready.”
I found that funny.
