The Real Fab Five was…

DEVO
The sole purpose of this post is to irritate my friends who cheer for the Michigan Wolverines. It is not an endorsement of DEVO or their music. However, I am very fond of their hats.
Jeff Stanger is an author, talk show host, professional fundraiser, and the answer to several obscure trivia questions. He writes for food and occasionally for spite.

grrrrrrrrrrr
“Are we not men? NO! We are Devo!”
“We’re through bein’ cool. We’re through bein’ cool. Eliminate the Ninnies and the Twits!”
“What a wonderful world we live in…”
One thing we know for sure, Devo would never call a time out when they don’t have any left…..
Just have to say that I am totally disappointed with you, man. This morning at Ryan’s I was wearing 1997 National Champs hat, my best UofM Sweatshirt, and my ‘Go Blue!’ boxers (didn’t expect anyone to know THAT) – and you did not make one comment! I was ready. I had all my Indiana Loosiers lines ready. So much opportunity missed.
Whip it good!
Hey, did you leave the country or something?!
Hey Grantboy,
As one older than you I’d have to say that the original fab five was The Dave Clark Five. Of course, we talking 1965 or thereabouts. Yet, I fondly remember singing along to Devo’s “Whip It”. At any rate, keep the website going.
Pax vobiscum,
Chris
Mr. Jeffreaux:
This is to inform you that the shot-clock is DANGEROUSLY near to expiring on your blog-site. TIME TO TAKE A SHOT!!! Post something! The fans are getting restless.
(I know, you need more deadlines – you love the sound they make as they whoosh past).
Leave your response!
